General Sessions

Educational programming is the heart of the txEDCON. Check out our General Sessions.

Speakers

First General Session, Friday, Sept. 12, 4 p.m.

Speaker: Anthony Trucks

A former foster child, NFL pro, American Ninja Warrior competitor, Trucks is an author, identity shift coach, founder of Dark Work, and creator of the Dark Work Experience. He teaches people how to access the power of their identity through Dark Work, tap into their full potential, and Make Shift Happen!

After a debilitating injury cut his pro career short, a friend reminded him he’d been revered as a hero who always overcame all the odds. Pivoting quickly, he decided to become an inspiration for others, realizing his desired outcome had to come from within. He had to put in the hard work, or “dark work,” no one else saw to become the person he wanted to be.

His life’s mission is to pass along the knowledge that took him 30+ years to learn.
