Part 1: Identifying and Reporting Suspected Child Abuse, Neglect, and Human Trafficking
Educators, administrators, and trustees must understand reporting requirements related to sexual abuse, human trafficking, and other maltreatment of children. Hear about significant legislative changes and a new waiver of immunity for districts. Required within 120 days of election or appointment and then every two years, this 1-hour session educates trustees on recognizing and preventing child abuse, human trafficking, and other maltreatment, ensuring student safety. This session will be eligible for continuing legal education (CLE) for Texas attorneys.
